These elegant dancers put many hours into technique classes, work hard to pick up choreography very quickly, are extremely versatile, and perform on the stages of Ontario's most elite dance competitions.

Dancers on our competitive team thrive on being challenged and pushed to reach their maximum potential.

All competitive dancers must audition for a spot on our elite team every spring. We offer Pre­ Competitive (2 hours per week commitment), Part-Time Competitive (less than 6 hours a week commitment) and Full-Time Competitive (7+ hours per week commitment).

The Pre-Competitive Show Team travels to one competition located in London, Ontario. They also perform at our Competitive Showcase in February, and all Recreational Recitals.

The Part-Time Competitive team travels to three competitions. Competitions selected for our Part-Time Comp team happen within a two hour drive. They also perform at our Competitive Showcase in February, and all Recreational Recitals.

The Competitive Company team travels to five regional competitions, plus one exclusively for solos between February and May each season. They also perform in our Competitive Company Showcase in February, and all Recreational Recitals.

AUDITION PROCESS

Every year we hold audition nights open to dancers ages 5-18. Our experienced Faculty instruct classes by age and level to get a sense of where the right placement for all dancers will be. The audition classes are taught like any normal class including a warm-up, floor work and a short combination. From there, our staff will assess the dancers and place them in the correct level, and parents will then be contacted with the placement we feel is best for their child!
